James Kent (Ltd.), Old Foley Pottery was founded in 1897 in Longton, Staffordshire, England, and operated until c.1989. Another company in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, is now using the name. According to the evidence uncovered, "Ltd." was added to the company name in the mark in 1913. After 1955, the term "Old Foley Pottery" was used (first mark). After 1955, the first and third marks indicated here were utilised. Between 1913 and 1918, the second mark was most likely in use. From 1950 to 1989, the third mark with the term "Ltd." was most likely used. Original Plate comes with Scalloped Gilt Edge and Floral Design. Collectible is in Excellent Original Condition.
