Vintage PJÄTTERYD IKEA piece, with a later addition of some red paint markings. UK artist Phil Handsley takes iconic subjects and makes them recognisable just by painting the light and dark the dark or shadow areas of the image, leaving the viewers imagination and memory to fill the rest of the space. Although working in oils his work borrows heavily from stencilled street art.
