Original Antique Jules-Rolez Limited Paris Mantle Marble Clock from C.1890’s. Jules Rolez, a Parisian who operated around 1900, became well-known for producing chimney clocks. The factory was located in Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie, near Dieppe and Saint-Nicolas d'Aliermont. Perhaps he borrowed "Blancs Roulants" from this location. The "Mouvements de Paris" (French Penduleworks) were stamped Jules Rolez Limited Paris, nevertheless. He may have had a sales business in Lancaster Avenue, Fennel Street 17 & 19, and he may have had relatives in Manchester who were from England, according to sources. English-language Rolez shares were also made available.
