Robert Gordon is a commercial pottery that sells ceramic goods in Australia and exports to Canada, the United States, and New Zealand. Robert 'Andy' Gordon and his wife Barbara own and run the company, which employs thirty people and offers a diverse range of items, some of which are currently outsourced to China. The Gordons started manufacturing pottery in a tin shed near Gembrook, Victoria, dubbed the Pack Track Pottery, in 1979, and sold their creations at the St Kilda markets. They moved to purpose-built premises in neighbouring Pakenham in 1987, where they remain today. June Dyson, Gordon's mother, was also a potter. She ran a semi-commercial studio in Black Rock, Melbourne, from 1945 to 1971, as well as another studio in Gembrook in 1958, with her husband Colin Gordon as company manager. Gordon began working in the studios while he was in his early twenties, and his four children are now employed by the company. Pack Track Pottery's wares are oxide-painted with the words 'Robert Gordon' or 'Gordon.' 'Robert Gordon Pottery Australia,' 'Robert Gordon Pottery Australian Made,' or 'Robert Gordon Australia' are marked on wares made at the Robert Gordon Pottery. Teacup comes in Good Condition and with Original Maker’s Hallmark.
