In 1878 Simon Fielding set up his business at the railway works in Sutherland Street, Stoke on Trent and began trading along with his son Abraham as 'S Fielding and co'. Fieldings produced Majolica which was in fashion and were major exporters of Majolica to America. It was not until the late 1880s that the ‘Crown Devon’ mark appeared, and not until 1912 that the Railway works was renamed 'The Devon Pottery'. The name Crown Devon was synonymous with quality and they exported their ranges to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. Their items are very collectable today.

Depending on the location, item, and weight, interstate shipping can be arranged and calculated prior purchase.
