Beautiful Vintage Decorative Crown Staffordshire Fine Bone China Decorative Plate by John Constable. Manufactured in England. “National Gallery. London. Signed and dated 1821: Exhibited at the British Institution 1822, sold to a French Dealer in 1824 and shown at the “Salon des anglais” of that year when Constable was awarded a gold medal by Charles X. The scene is Dedham Vale so often represented by Constable, showing in the background Willy Lott’s house, one of the artist’s favourite subjects. Now a collection of six plaques.” Plate comes in Great Original Condition.
