The goal of the company has remained unchanged since Georg Michael Pfaff started the GM manufacturing PFAFF® and constructed his first sewing machine in 1862. This goal is to continuously advance and upgrade sewing technology. Many significant junctures have been reached along the road. Here are a few examples. One thousand sewing machines had been produced ten years after the business had been established. In 1902, PFAFF® established a new factory in Kaiserslautern, Germany, which greatly increased production. The business introduced the first Rotary Hook sewing machines in 1922. One of the most important turning points in PFAFF® history may have occurred in 1968 with the introduction of the PFAFF® 1222, which included the Original IDTTM for integrated dual feed as well as Electronic Needle Piercing Power. The creativeTM 3.0 sewing and embroidery machine, the performanceTM 5.0 sewing machine, the quilt expressionTM 4.2 sewing machine, the expressionTM 3.2 sewing machine, and the passportTM 2.0 sewing machine were all introduced by PFAFF® in 2014. These five new machines were all created to help sewers achieve new heights.
