Iconic WW1 1907 pattern bayonet made by the Wilkinson Sword company in February 1918 and supplied to the Australian Military. The bayonet is stamped with the Australian government ownership mark and is complete with a Mangrovite scabbard. The 432mm single-edged, blackened blade has a long narrow fuller and rounded spine. The blade is in excellent condition and retains its sharp factory edge. The bayonet is complete with an Australian made WW2 issue No.1 Mk II leather scabbard with a large round frog stud. The leather is stamped “Mangrovite’42.” The scabbard is in good condition, appropriate for its age.
